The SOLUNA laboratory was founded by Alexander von Bernus in 1921. Since that time, the recipes for the spagyric remedies - the Solunates - which were developed by Alexander von Bernus, have been preserved and continually produced.

Alexander von Bernus was a famous alchemist and poet. An avid follower of the teachings of Paracelsus, von Bernus founded his own laboratory in 1921 and named it "Laboratory Stift Neuburg". Years of intense research and development led to a number of spagyric healing remedies, know today as the Solunates.

In our laboratories, we unite a creative cycle that begins with nature and ends with our customers. Because of this, Soluna offers our customers optimal products and quality service.

Soluna’s medicinal gardens are located 700 meters above sea level in the Italian Alps, near the town of San Pellegrino. The intense summers and winters found at this high altitude strongly influence the medicinal herbs. The herbal garden is nestled within a pristine alpine environment, far from any pollutants. After being brought in contact with the 7 planet metals, our own natural spring water is used to water the plants. The herbs are cultivated according to the strictest ecological standards and in consideration of biorhythms for sowing, planting and harvesting. In order to preserve the active ingredients in the medicinal plants, they are sowed, harvested, cleaned, and sorted by hand, and are chopped without the use of heat or pressure. Approximately 50 plants are cultivated in this fashion. An addition, 30 or so medicinal herbs are harvested from the wild, from the area surrounding the herbal gardens. In this way, we are certain that the herbs used in our Solunates are of the highest quality.

The Solunates are then produced in our laboratories in strict accordance to the original recipes and production methods dictated by Alexander von Bernus. In addition, all of the qualifications for modern medicinal production are also met.
