Soluna Spagyric Homeopathic Remedies Solunates

What does Spagyric mean?

The word spagyric stems from the Greek words "span" = seperate, and "ageirein" = put together/unite. This seperation and unity refers to the alchemical production process of medicinal remedies. Spagyrics are used as a therapeutic approach towards health through the specialized use of medicinal herbs and plants.

Spagyric history
The term "spagyric" can be referenced to the late middle ages. The first reference to the word was made by one of medicine's most famous figures, Paracelsus. In his writing, "Opus Paranirum", he advises doctors to "study alchemy, otherwise known as spagyric, for this reason: to learn to differentiate between what is correct and what is false". Thus spawns the corellation between alchemy and the word spagyric.

The philosophy behind alchemy is to understand that all levels of existence stand in relationship to each other based upon natural laws. This is why spagyric remedies are so closely related to the laws of nature.

The Spagyric Production Process
The production of spagyric remedies is highly specialized and extremely difficult. There are 4 basic processes needed to create a spagyric remedy.

Fermentation
In this step, the material is placed through an "organic dissolution process". It is only through fermentation that the three principles Sal (Body), Sulfur (Soul) and Mercurius (Mind) can be obtained in such a way that none of the principles lose their effectiveness. According to alchemical tradition, these three principles are not present in other types of plant remedies that are made by extracting the plant in a chemical compound.

Distillation
Through this process, the "etheric substances" - the essential oils and alcohol - are obtained. A gentle water distillation is used and the distillation resides are dried.

Calcination
The dried residue is calcinated. This process releases the minerals and trace minerals from their organic bindings, and these are then obtained by dissolving the ashes.

Unification
The distillate and the dissolved ahses are mixed together, thus creating a spagyric remedy; the so-called tincture. A well-known symbol for unification is the "sacred wedding" of the sun and the moon, man and woman.

What is the difference between Homeopathy and Spagyric?
Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body in purely a physical way. Although homeopathic remedies are beneficial to the body and the natural healing process, spagyric remedies are much more complex. The process of achieving an energetically charged spagyric remedy like Soluna's SOLUNATES is quite involved and utilizes the laws of nature to remedy illness and promote overall health. In this way, spagyric remedies have both a physical and mental effect. Spagyric remedies truly effect the mind, body and soul.
